 The Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts announced Sa’dabad and Golestan Palace complexes as the most visited historical places in Tehran since the beginning of Nowruz

According to the public relations of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex report and news website, based on the monitoring of the statistics from March 20 to March 23 in Tehran province, the cultural and historical complex of Sa’dabad with 55 thousand and 39 visitors (246358 visits), Golestan Palace World Heritage Complex with 36461 visitors (212435 visits) and Niavaran Palace historical cultural complex with 29970 visitors (118195 visits) have ranked first to third.

National Museum of Iran with 8,652 visitors (17,294 visits), Glassware and Ceramic Museum with 1,780 visitors, Carpet Museum with 753 visitors and Reza Abbasi Museum with 308 visitors are in the next ranks.

According to the previous announcement of this ministry, the provinces of Fars, Isfahan, Tehran, Khuzestan and Khorasan Razavi have so far received the highest number of visits to historical monuments, and the Hafeziyeh complex, Takht Jamshid and Sa’dabad have been the most visited so far.
